Web 2.0 is all over the Internet these days. Everyone and their mother seem to be talking about Web 2.0 sites all over. At the face of it, Web 2.0 websites are nothing but websites that use technologies such as AJAX, Social Bookmarking and Tagging etc.
However, behind the scenes, all Web 2.0 websites are a closely-knit community of users that shares information among themselves, helping each other discovers new things everyday.
Web 2.0 was probably the hottest term of the year 2007 and a lot of internet marketers have used these websites to generate traffic to their websites, attracting potential buyers like bees to honey.
Over the next few weeks, I’m going to show how you too can take advantage of the technology on some of these websites, board the Web 2.0 bandwagon and drive tons of traffic to your websites. I’m going to cover the leading social bookmarking and tagging websites and how you can use them to your benefit.
But before we begin, there is one thing I want to make clear. As you know, Web 2.0 websites consist of users that form the large community behind these websites. These users LOVE the websites they belong too and take great care of it. So, users that post unwanted or bad content are seen as “enemies”. Hence, you must ALWAYS keep in mind that you are polite and prudent at all times and post only content that REALLY adds value to the website.
